Crisis Survivor supplies Business Continuity Planning services both to the professions and industry. It has a flexible sales model delivering a structured BCP service, using Crisis Survivor’s licensed consultants and also selling in conjunction with professional practices. The process is supported by an advanced computer-aided planning tool that ensures reliability and consistency of process.

Tony Gimple, Managing Director

 

Before founding Crisis Survivor, Tony had a number of senior roles at American Express, Chancery Law Group and the Towergate Partnership. He pioneered placing mortgage brokers in estate agents, helped to set up the UK's first mainstream fee based financial planning business, co-founded the UK's first deregulated law firm and developed usable Business Continuity Planning for SMEs.

 

He is the subject of a Cranfield University School of Business MBA thesis and report on Entrepreneurship, and has written articles and features for “The Times”, “The Sunday Telegraph”, “PostMag”, “Financial Adviser”, “Money Marketing” and “High Net Worth” Magazine. Tony is also an accredited Lexcel Consultant

Matthew Gilchrist Bennett, Head of Client Services

 

Matthew originally trained as a lawyer before moving into Financial Services where he specialised in planning for high net worth clients. He returned to the Law in 1991 and subsequently co-founded the UK’s first deregulated law firm, working closely with many of the country’s leading financial, accountancy and affinity groups, and was Chairman of the Small Business Network.
 

He is an experienced relationship manager, trainer and presenter, and highly skilled in developing and maintaining the interface between a company and its clients. Matthew is also an accredited Lexcel Consultant

SimonnBreese, Head of Marketing & Communications

 

Simon has a strong background in the IT industry having worked first for ICL and then for Unisys where he worked across a number of international markets and was Sales Operations Director for the UKMEI&A region.

 

Simon specialises in selling and marketing solutions in a range of Business-to-Business markets. He has worked in a number of capacities; direct sales, channel sales, industry marketing, product marketing, sales and strategic planning. Simon set up his own consultancy advising on business and marketing strategy and now heads Crisis Survivor's marketing and communications programme.

Bill May, Head of Risk Management

 

Bill has worked for many of the big names in the insurance industry including Aon and Marsh, where he was Vice President Technical Strategy and Innovation, and has been leading BIBA's work groups on terrorism and climate risk. He enjoys regular contact with his opposite numbers at both the ABI and Lloyds, as well as with a number of government departments and the OECD.

 

As head of risk management Bill ensures that the company's BCP and Risk Management methodologies are optimally aligned with insurance industry requirements, professional practice and BS25999.
